Case I.W.
Robin saw her kidnapping charges in Jan. 2006 for taking her kids. She went to
the jail with T and Sheila to see her. She had been in jail for two and a half weeks no lawyer, no arraignment, and her daughter
was dumped into the street for 24 hours after having been held in the jail for 24 hours.
When her sister complained, they refused to let her go to her aunt and put
her with a 'friend' who was not a friend of I.W's and was a drug dealer. India's sister complained so they finally after
two days with the known drug dealer put her in the foster home that allowed her to stay out until 12AM, something her
mom didn't allow, and took her to Utah for a baptism while not allowing her daughter to return to Wyoming to be with
the sister.
WAACM helped to get to her lawyer and T communicating with sister. She was let out
of jail without bail, she was given no conditions other than to sign an extradition waiver, and taken to Madison County and
dumped at a restaurant. When she got her stuff from Bonneville and talked to her lawyer and left for WY, Jefferson started
to put out a warrant for her arrest saying that she hadn't had permission to leave and that going to WY was jumping bail.
Mallard her lawyer argued it. They then scheduled a hearing for her daughter and kids the next day and told her she was in
abandonment of her kids. T and her lawyer threatened the H&W people and the meeting was allowed to include India's interest
all though she couldn't return immediately to Idaho.
A few weeks ago Judge Moss reviewed her case, and dropped all charges.
She has had Sunday visitations with her other three children, and the oldest is with her sister and having problems because
of the trauma. India's lawyer was contacted that Jefferson County was considering preferring charges a second time for 2nd
Degree kidnapping and her lawyer was contacted and told he should start making a deal. They were told that it was 'Double
Jeopardy' and the results of that conversation are pending or unknown as yet. India is suing Jefferson County and Health &
Welfare for damages and counseling needed for the oldest girl who has been really traumatized by that and the fact the Police
Chief threatened her a few years before to put her up on possession of firearms charges, for accusing Rod of raping her. The
three younger children are currently being kept between Rod (the ex husband) and the grandmother, his biological mom.
